The wings of the adult of this species have a striking pattern of brown and white, and the hindwings are edged with a series of black spots. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
