The adult moth of this species has yellow or pale brown forewings each with a broad brown margin. The hindwings are dark brown. The thorax may be either brown or orange. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
