The adult moths of this species are small, reaching only a span of 1.5 cms. They have yellow forewings with a dark brown base, spot in the middle, and submarginal band. The hindwings are a plain pale brown.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
