The adult moth is yellow or reddish, with a subterminal darker line across each wing. The forewings each have a pink mark at the wingtip, and a dark mark on the costa, and another near the tornus. The wingspan is about 4.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
