The adult moths are grey with a tracery of dark lines on the forewings. The head is hairy and cream coloured. The thorax has a brown dorsal patch. The wingspan is about 5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
