The adult moth of this species has variable spotty fawn forewings each with a small pair of black and white spots near the middle. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
