The adult moth of this species has forewings that are brown, each with a number of white dots at the tornus. The hindwings are each black at the margin fading to yellow at the base, with a white flash extending from the tornus. The wingspan is about 5 cms.

The species occurs in

  • New Guinea

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
