Crossophora semiota

The adult moth has dark brown forewings, which in life have a purple sheen, each with an incomplete white band across the middle of the wing. The hindwings are orange. The head is black. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
