The adult moth of this species has dark brown forewings which have one or more pale streaks along the wing and along the margin. The hindwings are yellow. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
