The adult moth has forewings that are a patchy pale brown, with dark brown wing tips. The hindwings are pale brown. The moth has a wingspan of about 1 cm.

The species is rare,specimens having been taken in

  • New Zealand,

    and in Australia in

  • New South Wales.
