The adult moth of this species has speckled fawn forewings, each with varible dark brown marks particularly at the base, across the middle, and around the margin. The hindwings are pale grey with faint ripple marks. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
