Narcisse Rémond was a prominent French master intaglio printer (imprimeur taille-doucier) based in Paris. He took over the printing workshop established by his father, Jean-Charles Rémond, at 15 Rue Saint-Jacques in Paris’ Latin Quarter.

Narcisse Rémond is highly regarded for his precision in scientific, natural history, and artistic engravings during the 19th century, notably producing finely detailed plates for ornithological, entomological, and botanical publications.

He printed the Lepidoptera plates for Boisduval and Feisthamel in the report on the epic
Voyage autour du monde par les mers de l'Inde et de Chine.

and for Guérin-Méneville his report on the epic
Voyage autour du monde sur la corvette La Coquille.
