Some taxonomists think that BLASTODACNINAE is a subfamily of AGONOXENIDAE, and some think that AGONOXENINAE is a subfamily of BLASTODACNIDAE, but here following the Australian Faunal Directory, we relegate it to a Tribe of subfamily AGONOXENINAE in the family ELACHISTIDAE.
